![]() I must say we had a really great experience at Encore. However my husband was scheduled to attend a conference at the Wynn so the Encore seemed like the best choice since it is near by and we got a fairly good room rate (we stayed 5 nights). I was very nervous at first about staying at the Encore because most of the reviews I read online did not recommend the Wynn/Encore for couples traveling with young children. I have stayed at Caesars, Bellagio, Wynn and Riviera. I have been to Las Vegas abot 5 times in the past 10 yrs. I requested a mini fridge and crib at check in and both arrived less than. It was about 1:30 pm and check in technically did not start until 3 pm, but this was not a problem. Although there were no strip view rooms available when we arrived, she kept searching and was able to get us into a partial strip view room. They love to run around and spread their toys out, so the extra room was great!! When we were checking in I looked for the front desk clerk with the friendliest demeanor and smile and I was not disappointed. This was key because we were traveling with our two daughters who are 1 and 4. Many of the reviews I read from other parents with young children were completely false. If you want a quieter hotel check out the Aria or Mandarin.I have been to Las Vegas abot 5 times in the past 10 yrs. I'm not a gambler but Encore just had a bit more class then the other Casino's. Although the grounds are so big it took ages to walk to my room.especially when you're wearing heals. The grounds are lovely, well kept and the shops are lovely. Not sure if $100 for breakfast was worth it. ![]() Cannot fault them! We ate at the SW Steakhouse, Andreas (try the wagu beef sliders - amazing), Mizumi (really good sushi) and we had breakfast a few times. When I tried to order I just got "I don't cover this area" Good stuff: The hotel has amazing restaurants. I also didn't like the waiting staff near the pool area - really snobby and up themselves. May be because it was Labour weekend and it was busier than normal. Once we got to the pool area, it was difficult to find deck chairs. There are so many people around and to get to the pool you have to walk past the Casino, check -in, front doors and then you get to the pool area. We came from a hotel where it was very personal, so if you're looking for that then this is not your place. Got to see the sun rising and setting - Trumps Hotel got in the way of the sun setting which was unfortunate. ![]() I think the room was amazing - decent view of the pool and the Wynn. The room had a rotating TV and large floor to ceiling windows. Very large bathroom, bed and living space. We booked the Panoramic view suite, which I have to say is a fantastic room. Our check-in was smooth but I feel it was a bit salesy - it wasn't really personal, more trying to sell us a bigger room. I'm glad we arrived the day we did because if we got there on Friday, then we would have spent ages checking in and the lines are like being at an airport. I was pretty blown away on how many people were in the lobby. We drove from LA where we stayed at a smaller, more personal hotel.
